　International Pillow Fight Day is held every April around the world—from Amsterdam， Budapest， to New York. It has been celebrated world widely since 2008.
　　世界枕头大战节每年四月份在世界各地举办——从阿姆斯特丹、布达佩斯到纽约。自2008年起，人们就开端在全球范围内庆祝这个节日。

 
　　Hundreds of people go out with their pillows hitting each other’s face， back and chest. People dress up as super heroes and animals， laughing and fighting. Pillows are sometimes hidden and at the exact pre arranged2 time or the sound of a whistle3， the pillow fighters pull out their pillows and start pillow fighting. The pillow fights can last from a few minutes to several hours. There are some rules： Bring your own pillows and don’t hit anyone without a pillow or with a camera.
　　成百上千的人們走出门用自带的枕头相互击打脸部、背部和胸部。人们盛装打扮成超级英豪和动物，欢笑着，打闹着。有时候枕头被藏起来，比及事前安排好的某个切当时刻或许一声哨响，枕头兵士们才会拿出枕头来开端枕头大战。枕头大战能继续几分钟到几小时不等。（枕头大战）有几条规矩：带自己的枕头，不能进犯没有枕头的人或带着相机、开麦拉的人。
　　The festival used to be a game to release4 energy and stress. Nowadays besides bringing fun， International Pillow Fight Day has become a way to quickly collect pillows for the homeless. In 2014， about 2，000 pillows were collected for the poor in Bronx and Brooklyn.
　　这个节日曾经是一个用来开释精力、缓解压力的游戏。现在除了给人们带来趣味之外，世界枕头大战节现已成了一个为无家可归者敏捷筹措枕头的途径。2014年，这个节日为布朗克斯和布鲁克林的贫民筹措到了大约2000个枕头。

　　According to The Guinness World Record， the latest record of the largest pillow fight was set on October 27， 2013 in Chicago， with 4，500 pillows and 3，813 people.

　　This year， International Pillow Fight Day is held in Washington， DC on April 1st.
